We’ll decide together. In our first session we’ll explore what’s been bringing you, what you’re hoping for, and what feels manageable. We may use CBT for clarity and practical tools, somatic work for regulation and safety, either separately or combined, as agreed with you.
The first session is a chance to talk through what you’re experiencing, ask questions, and get a sense of how I work. We’ll agree priorities, discuss what feels safe and helpful, and outline a plan. There’s no pressure to share anything before you’re ready.
No. We can work at the level that feels safe for you. Many people find it helpful to focus on present-day symptoms, patterns, and what your body is telling you, without going into graphic detail.
It varies depending on what you’re working with and what support you want. Some people choose a short block of sessions to learn tools and stabilise; others prefer longer-term therapy to process deeper patterns. We’ll review progress regularly and adjust as needed.
If it’s helpful, we can agree small, realistic practices between sessions—such as CBT reflections, grounding exercises, or noticing body cues. The aim is to support you, not add pressure.

I offer sessions [online / in person / both]. We can discuss what format works best for you and what’s most suitable for the type of support you’re looking for.
